Klaus Kruse is a specialist in directing immersive theatre and the designing of interactive physical environs. His theatre practice utilises varying technologies to augment and animate interactive performance environments. The installations that he creates with his company Living Structures envelop audiences in physical structures and contraptions that transform volume, shape and atmosphere of the performance space. A particular focus lays on how the materiality of spaces we create affects the way the audience and performers interact with each other and with their environment. Storytelling is at the heart of our work and immersion is utilised as a dramaturgical tool to generate ‘experiential-narrative. – more info –
